Marina M. Crouch, 97, of Orwigsburg, PA, formerly of Bronx, NY, passed away Tuesday, October 15th, at home.
Born in Jersey City, NJ on December 20, 1926, she was a daughter of the late Cecilio & Ernestine (McNichols) Perez.
Married in 1950, Marina was the widow of Edward Crouch who departed in 1972. They were to together for 22 years.
In addition to her parents and husband, Marina is also preceded in death by her daughter, Janet Crouch, sister, Melita Shefton, & brother, Edwin Cecilio Perez.
She was a graduate of Morris High School, Bronx, NY, Class of 1945. She also received a diploma in dress making from Jane Adams Trade School in 1959.
Marina retired as a public school secretary from New York Public School.
She was an active member of St. Margaret's Episcopal Church for several years in Bronx, NY.
Marina loved people and always had a smile for everyone she met. She enjoyed traveling, bus trips, and cruises, especially trips to Atlantic City casinos. She also loved to cook.
Marina is also survived by her son, Edward A. Crouch, husband of Annie Williams-Crouch, who was her primary caretaker for her duration of life, of Orwigsburg; brother, Ralph Perez of West Orange, NJ; and several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and extended family.
A Celebration of Life Funeral Service will be held at 11 AM on Wednesday, October 23rd at Geschwindt Stabingas Ebling Funeral Home, Inc., 25 E. Main St., Schuylkill Haven, PA with nephew, Ralph Perez officiating.
A viewing will be held from 10 AM until the time of services at the funeral home.
Private interment will be held at Long Island National Cemetery, Farmingdale, NY.
