Ada G. Miller

Ada G. Miller, 93, of Shoemakersville, formerly of Drehersville, passed away Tuesday, October 17th, at home.

Born in Pottsville on November 17, 1929, she was a daughter of the late Elmer & Anna (Scholl) Ebling.

She was the widow of Robert C. Miller, who passed away in 2015.

Ada is also preceded in death by her son, Ronald Miller and daughter, Susan March, brothers: Charles, Edward, James, Sam, Robert, and Theodore and sister, Ruth.

Ada is survived by her son, Robert Miller (aka Pigeon) of Hamburg; daughter, Tracey, wife of  Shennon Heckman, of Shoemakersville; son-in-law, Craig March, of Texas, grandsons, Craig March II, Bob, Jamie, Mike, Chris, & Jeremy Miller, great-grandchildren: Felicia, Micheal, and Julianna Miller, a sister, Lois Fehr, of Pottsville, a brother, Gene, husband of Peggy Ebling, of Orwigsburg; and several nieces & nephews.

She was a member of Immanuel Evangelical Congregational Church, Drehersville, Rebecca Lodge #161, New Ringgold Fire Company Ladies Auxiliary, Orwigsburg, & Shoemakersville Senior Citizens Groups.

Ada enjoyed baking, flowers, the Eagles and playing games.

She had worked as a machine operator for Classtex Knitting Mill in Orwigsburg for over 40 years before retiring.

Services will be held privately.
