Adeline A. Salak, 94, of Pottsville, passed away Monday, February 10th, at Schuylkill Center.
Born in Pottsville on May 30, 1930, she was the daughter of the late Kathryn (Petrusky) and Enoch Musalavage.
Adeline was the widow of Jerome F. Salak, Sr., who passed away in 2011.
She was a member of St. Patrick Roman Catholic Church, Pottsville.
Adeline was employed by various garment factories and later became a homemaker.
For several years, Adeline volunteered at Good Samaritan Hospital.
Adeline is survived by a son, Jerome F. Salak, Jr, of Pottsville; a granddaughter, Brittany, whom she loved spending time with; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents and husband, Adeline is preceded in death by two brothers, Leonard and Clement Musalavage.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 AM on Monday, February 17th at St. Patrick Roman Catholic Church in Pottsville with Rev. Philip Rodgers officiating. A viewing will be held at 9:30 AM at Lord Ebling Haus Funeral Home & Crematory, Inc.. Pottsville until the procession leaves for church.
Interment will follow at Calvary Cemetery, Pottsville.
The family prefers remembrances in the form of contributions to St. Patrick Roman Catholic Church Memorial Fund, 319 Mahantongo St. Pottsville, PA 17901.
