Allen Homan, age 66, passed away peacefully on July 1, 2024. Allen was a beloved member of his family as well as his community and will be remembered for his kindness, generosity, and unwavering dedication to his family and friends.
Born on September 09 1957, Allen lived a life full of passion and purpose. He was known for his strong work ethic and his commitment to his career as the Director of Sales with Perma Column East. Throughout his life, Allen made significant contributions to his field, earning the respect and admiration of his colleagues.
Allen was a loving a husband, father, grandfather, son, and brother. His family was the center of his world. He leaves behind his wife, Marcie Richardson Homan, to whom he was married for 49 beautiful years. Also left to cherish his memory are his two sons, Jason Homan and Shayne Homan, his two daughters in law, Stephanie Sterner Homan and Heather Howard Homan. He also leaves behind his 4 grandchildren, Austin Homan, Chloey Homan, Mya Homan, and Lea Homan. He also is going to be greatly missed by his father Eugene Homan and siblings, Sandy Hanson, wife of Brad, Dale Homan, husband of Mary, Carrie Brunn, wife of Tom, and Craig Homan, husband of Shannon. Along with his two fur babies, Greyson and Remee. His family and friends will forever cherish the memories they shared with him and the legacy of love and kindness he leaves behind.
Allen was proceeded in death by his mother, Beatrice Saxton Homan, a brother Michael Homan, a sister LeAnn Homan, his maternal and paternal grandparents, as well as his in law, Don and Linda Warren Richardson.
In addition to his professional and familial commitments, Allen was an active member of many organizations, one being the NFBA. His customers were all such special people in his life. He formed many strong friendships throughout his career with Perma Column. He was also an active member at Landingville Fire Company and Summit Station Fire Company. He touched the lives of many with his selflessness and generosity.
A memorial service to celebrate Allen's life will be announced at a later date. It will be celebrated at Kimmel’s Church in Orwigsburg, Pa. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to Kimmel’s Church, a place that was near and dear to Allen’s heart.
Allen Homan's memory will live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved him. He will be deeply missed and definitely be never forgotten.
