Anna Bazar, 90, of Cressona, passed away Saturday at Geisinger Medical Center, Danville.
Born in Cressona, Feb. 11, 1924, she was a daughter of the late Alevander and Anastozia Bazar.
Anna was a graduate of Cressona High School and was formerly employed by local textile mills.
She was a member of St. Nicholas Ukrainian Catholic Church, Minersville.
Anna was preceded in death by brothers, Wesley and Stephen Bazar; and sisters, Pearl Bazar and Mary Macy.
She is survived by a sister, Bessie Bazar, Cressona; two brothers, Joseph Bazar, Carlisle, and Leo Bazar, Cressona; two nieces, Carol McKissick, Ellicott City, Md., and Susan Gesoff, Houston, Texas; and a nephew, James Bazar, Dallas, Texas.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Friday at St. Nicholas Ukrainian Catholic Church, Minersville, with the Rev. Mark Fesniak officiating. A viewing will be held from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. Friday at Ebling Stabingas Funeral Home, 26 Chestnut St., Cressona. Interment will follow the service in St. Ambrose Cemetery, Schuylkill Haven.
