Anna G. Johnson

Anna G. Johnson, 87, of Pottsville, passed away Wednesday, May 23rd, at Rosewood Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, Schuylkill Haven.

Born in Pottsville on July 17, 1930, she was a daughter of the late George F. & Marian (Anderson) Diamantopoulos.

She was the widow of Wayne C. Johnson, who passed away in 1984.

In addition to her parents and husband, she is also preceded in death by two brothers: Frank & George Diamantopoulos.

Anna was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church, Pottsville.  She also belonged to Pottsville Senior Citizens, and Round House Senior Citizens.

She was a Pottsville High School graduate, Class of 1949, and was formerly employed as a machine operator at Van Heusen, Pottsville.

She is survived by caregiver, Barbara Potts, Pottsville, and nieces & nephews.

A memorial service will be conducted at Trinity Lutheran Church, Pottsville, on Thursday, May 31st, at 12:30 p.m.

A committal service will follow at Union Cemetery, Schuylkill Haven, beginning at 1:30 p.m.
