Anne L. Fisher

Anne L. Fisher, 89, of Orwigsburg, passed away on Monday, February 24th.

Born in Cressona on June 14, 1935, she was the daughter of the late Marion (Miller)  and Luther Geary.

Anne was the widow of Jon R. Fisher, Sr.

She graduated with a Bachelor's Degree from Bloomsburg University.

Throughout her career, Anne was employed as a business teacher for Pine Grove School District, Schuylkill Business Institute in Pottsville, and Pace in Reading.

Anne was a member of First United Church of Christ, Schuylkill Haven, Quilter's Guild at St. Paul's Summer Hill United Church of Christ.

She is survived by a son, Jon R. Fisher, Jr., husband of Penny, of Perkasie; a daughter, Jill G. Cutter, of Reading; grandchildren: Carolyn, wife of Jonathan Bausch, Ian Fisher, Jaime Cutter, Erin, wife of Austin Draper; and great grandsons, Luke & Micah.

In addition to her parents and husband, Anne is preceded in death by a brother, Bruce Geary.

Services and interment will be private at the convenience of family.
