Anne W. Moore, 68, formerly of Pottsville, passed away Monday at Morningside House, Leesburg, Va.
Born in Butler Township, July 15, 1947, she was a daughter of the late Ellis and Regina Appleby Williams.
She was the widow of Lawrence E. Moore.
Anne was a member of St. Patrick Roman Catholic Church and the Pilot Club, both of Pottsville, and Mount Carbon Fire Company, where she was the former secretary/treasurer.
She is survived by a son, Larry Moore II and wife, Marianne, Leesburg, Va.; three grandchildren; Laura, Mark and Brian Moore.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Thursday at St. Patrick Roman Catholic Church, Pottsville. A viewing for family and friends will be held from 10 a.m. until the time of the Mass at the church. Interment will take place in Calvary Cemetery, Pottsville. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Nativity Preservation Support Fund, P.O. Box 82, Pottsville, PA 17901.
