Barbara A. Kull, 72, of Mount Carbon, passed away Thursday at her residence.
Born in Pottsville, Dec. 11, 1942, she was a daughter of the late Rita M. Bettinger and Eugene J. Rehnert.
She was the widow of Edward W. Kull, who passed away in 2004.
She was a member of the former St. Francis de Sales Church and a current member of St. Patricks RCC, Pottsville. She was also the treasurer of Xi. Master of the local Beta Sigma Phi chapter.
She was formerly employed by Pottsville Area School District and the Pottsville Free Library as a librarian aide.
Barbara is survived by a daughter, Susan McCord, Mount Carbon; son, Michael Kull, Pottsville; sister, Mary Ellen Schuetrumpf, wife of Carl, Lancaster; brother, James J. Rehnert, husband of Anna, Saint Clair; grandchildren, Kelly A. McCord Ebling, wife of Eddie, and Megan L. McCord, all of Pottsville; a great-grandson Brody M. McCord; several nieces and nephews.
A Celebration of Life Mass will be held at 11 a.m. Monday at St. Patrick's Roman Catholic Church, Pottsville. A viewing for family and friends will be held from 9:30 a.m. until the time of the Mass Monday in the lower level of church chapel. At the family's request, memorial donations may be sent to John S. Clarke Library, 601 N. 16th Street, Pottsville, PA 17901, or St. Patrick's Memorial Fund, 319 Mahantongo Street, Pottsville, PA 17901 or Pottsville Free Public Library, 215 West Market Street, Pottsville PA 17901. Interment will be at Our Lady of Calvary Cemetery Pottsville.
