Beatrice Rita May Deri, 94, of Whitehall, formerly of Cressona, passed away Sunday at her daughter's residence.
Beatrice was born in Pottsville, April 30, 1922, a daughter of the late Elsie Kiefer and Conrad Krell.
She was the widow of Alex Deri.
She was a former member of the former Cressona United Methodist Church .
In addition to her husband, she is preceded in death by siblings, Irene Dillman, Jerry Kutz and Floyd Krell.
Beatrice is survived by her daughter, Elsie Duda, wife of Thomas, Whitehall; grandson, Ryan Duda, Whitehall; brother, Robert Krell, Pottsville; sister, Roberta Sterner, Orwigsburg; nieces and nephews.
A Celebration of Life funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Ebling-Stabingas Funeral Home, Cressona. A viewing for family and friends will be held from 10 a.m. until the time of service Wednesday at the funeral home. Interment will be at Cressona Cemetery, Cressona. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to the Altzheimer's Association, South Central PA Chapter, 3544 N. Progress Ave., Suite 205, Harrisburg, PA 17110.
