Betty J. Ditzler, 82, of Palo Alto, passed away Thursday, September 21st, at Lehigh Valley Medical Center - 17th and Chew Street, Allentown.
Betty was born in East Brunswick Twp., on January 26, 1935, a daughter of the late Mabel (Pauley) and John Hartranft.
She was the widow of Kenneth L. Ditzler, who passed away in 2008.
In addition to her husband, she is preceded in death by a son Kenneth L. Ditzler, Jr., brothers Kenneth, Russell, Howard, Floyd, Leon and Paul; sisters Pearl Potts, Miriom Karpulk and Carol Mohl.
Betty is survived by her children Steven Ditzler and partner Howard Hainley, Schuylkill Haven, Kim Ditzler, Palo Alto, Gerri Haley wife of Stephen, Palo Alto, Sally Cromyak wife of Anthony, St. Clair, Kathi Mengle and partner Mike Ritzko, Palo Alto; nine grandchildren; and seven great grandchildren. She was the last surviving member of her immediate family.
A Celebration of Life Funeral Service will be held at Geschwindt-Stabingas Funeral Home, Inc. , Schuylkill Haven, at 1 pm on Monday, September 25th.
A viewing for family and friends will be held Monday 12 noon until the time of the service at the funeral home.
Interment will be private at Indiantown Gap National Cemetery, Annville.
