Betty Viola Fenstermacher, 88, formerly of Schuylkill Haven, passed away Sunday at Orwigsburg Center, where she had been a resident.
Born in Schuylkill Haven, Aug. 11, 1928, she was a daughter of the late Lewis and Mabel Nunemacher Reber.
She was the wife of James A. Fenstermacher, who passed away Feb. 22, 2013.
She attended Schuylkill Haven schools and was a homemaker.
Betty was a member of Jerusalem Lutheran Church and the Rainbow Hose Company Auxiliary, both in Schuylkill Haven.
In addition to her parents and husband, Betty was also preceded in death by a brother and sister.
She is survived by two daughters, Barbara Ann Starinsky, wife of the late Robert Starinsky, Schuylkill Haven, and Debra Kovich, partner of Marcia Hoke, Cressona; a son, James Lewis Fenstermacher, husband of Cynthia, Landingville. Betty is also survived by grandchildren, Richard, Richelle, James M., Jarrod and John; great-grandchildren, Richard Jr., Jeremy, Cassandra, Emily, Sasha, Aiden, Xavier, Emily, Lily, Kaylee and Darren.
A Celebration of Life funeral service will be conducted at 10:30 a.m. Thursday at Geschwindt-Stabingas Funeral Home Inc., Schuylkill Haven, with the Rev. David Rowe officiating. A visitation will be held from 9:30 a.m. until the time of service at the funeral home. Interment will follow the service at Schuylkill Memorial Park, Schuylkill Haven.
