Bright A. Kantner Jr., 74, of Schuylkill Haven, passed away Tuesday at his residence.
Bright was born in Schuylkill Haven, Dec. 29, 1942, a son of the late Bright A. Sr. and Norma Gensemer Kantner.
He was the husband of Rickie Winters Kantner.
Bright was a graduate of Schuylkill Haven High School, Class of 1962.
He served in the Air Force as a A2C E-3 during the Vietnam War.
He was a member of Jerusalem Lutheran Church, Schuylkill Haven. He also served as a past president of the Schuylkill Haven Little League.
He was employed by Hexcel, Saint Clair, in the shipping department.
Bright was preceded in death by his sister, Sharon Mcilvee.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by a son, Brian Kantner, Schuylkill Haven; a daughter, Tricia Moyer, wife of Ryan, Schuylkill Haven; grandchildren, Chad, Blayne and Hayley Moyer, and Rheagen and Kennedy Kantner; brothers, David, Edward and Rick Kantner, Dwayne Berger and Charles Werner; sisters, Dotti Petritus, Betty Miller, Alice Farr, Norma Lehman, Mary Runkle and Marie Yeich; nieces and nephews.
Services will be private at the convenience of family.
