Catherine G. (Geiger) Kramer

Catherine G. Kramer, 90, of Orwigsburg, passed away Sunday, January 23rd, at Orwigsburg Center, Orwigsburg.
She was the widow of Lewis L. Kramer, to whom she was married 51 years.
Born in Pottsville on February 22, 1931, she was a daughter of the late Howard Geiger, Sr. & Mary (Tomack) Geiger.
Catherine attended Pottsville Area School District.
She had worked as a machine operator for Craftex Mills, Auburn, and other various jobs.
Catherine loved and immersed herself with family and friends' concerns throughout her life; often putting other people's needs first. She was always eager to chat, often during coffee and tea. She enjoyed cooking, baking, bird watching, gardening, watching TV gameshows, and sports, and caring for pets.
In addition to her parents and husband, Catherine is also preceded in death by her sons, Randy J. Kramer, Sr., and Kevin Kramer, and her sisters: Priscilla, & Rose.
She is survived by two sons: Lon Kramer, & Lamar Kramer, husband of Sonya, a daughter, Sharon Kramer, and a daughter-in-law, Susan Kramer.
Catherine is also survived by seven grandchildren: Randy Kramer, Jr., Shane, Brandon, Bradley, & Nathaniel Kramer, Heather Kramer Snowwell, and Stephanie Boyer, eight great-grandchildren, and a brother, Howard Geiger, Jr., four nephews, and three nieces.
A graveside service at Schuylkill Memorial Park, Schuylkill Haven, on Thursday at 12:30 p.m. with Pastor Jim Fidler officiating.
