Charles Robert "Chuckie" Bunnell

Charles Robert "Chuckie" Bunnell, 73, passed away Wednesday, April 17th, at Pottsville Rehabilitation & Nursing Center, Pottsville, where he had been a longtime resident.

Born in Pottsville on December 25, 1950, he was a son of the late Elaine (Brown) Gilbert, and Ziba T. Bunnell, Jr.

Chuckie completed his grade school education at Patterson School, Pottsville, and later earned a data processing certificate from Schuylkill Vocational Technical School.

He was a member of St. John's United Church of Christ, Schuylkill Haven.

Chuckie had worked at the United Cerebral Palsy Workshop as an assembler.

He enjoyed bowling.

Chuckie is survived by siblings: Thomas Gilbert (Kay), Patricia Mehle (Jim), James Gilbert (Debbie), Michael Gilbert (Denise), Barbara Gonder (Kerry), Michael Bunnell, David Bunnell, & Raymond Bunnell, step-mother, Barbara Bunnell Messinger, nieces, nephews, & extended family.

In addition to his parents, he is also preceded in death by his step-father, James R. Gilbert, and brother, Larry Bunnell.

A Celebration of Life Funeral Service will be held at Geschwindt Stabingas Ebling Funeral Home, Inc. on Monday at 11:30 AM. A viewing will be held from 10:30 AM until the time of service.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Joseph's Center for Special Learning, with "In Memory of Chuckie Bunnell" on the memo line of your check, and mailed to 302 Randel St., Schuylkill Haven PA 17972.
