Charles L. Foster, 51, of Schuylkill Haven, passed away Thursday, September 8th, at his residence.
Charles was born in Frankfurt, Germany on November 4, 1964, a son of the late Eria May (Farne) and Charles Foster.
He was the husband of Lori A. (Neiswander) Foster.
He was a former member of United Methodist Church, Orwigsburg and the Schuylkill Haven Masonic Lodge. Charlie was the current President and Coach of the Schuylkill Haven Midget Football. He played fast pitch softball and also helped with Gary Hess's political campaign.
Charlie was a graduate of Blue Mountain High School, class of 1983 and Penn State University; Schuylkill Campus. He played on the football team in both high school and college. He was formerly employed as a corrections officer at the Schuylkill County Prison, and worked at Hess Catering.
In addition to his wife, Charlie is survived by a daughter, Sarah Foster, attending Shippensburg University and a son, Aaron Foster, husband of Cari, Schuylkill Haven; grandson Tristan Foster.
He is also survived by three sisters, Nancy Foster, Orwigsburg; Donna Foster, Orwigsburg; Mary Daley, Duncott and a brother, John Foster & wife, Bonnie, Adamsdale.
He is preceded in death by his mother, a son, Zachary C. Foster, August 24, 2013 and his sister Charlene Foster.
A Celebration of Life Memorial Service will be held at Geschwindt-Stabingas Funeral Home, Inc. , Schuylkill Haven,, at 11:30 am on Wednesday, September 14th, with Certified Celebrant Rebecca Devlin officiating.
A visitation for family and friends will be held Wednesday 9:30 am until the time of the service at the funeral home.
Family request donations to the funeral home to help defray costs of the services.
Interment at Schuylkill Memorial Park, Schuylkill Haven.
