Christopher Whalen

Christopher Whalen, 43, of Pottsville, passed away Sunday, June 9th, at his residence.

Born in Pottsville on July 22, 1980, he was the son of Kathy Beach James, of Schuylkill Haven and the late Edward Whalen.

Christopher attended Schuylkill Haven High School and obtained his GED. He then attended LCCC for Welding.

He worked at M&Q Packaging as a machinist and Hatteras Yachts as an electrician.

Christopher enjoyed the outdoors and spending time with his children and family.

In addition to his mother Kathy, Christopher is survived by a daughter, Brianna Whalen, a son, Brandon Whalen, and their mother Jennifer Principato, of Schuylkill Haven; siblings, Kerrie Becker and Kimberly Beach; several half siblings; a niece Katelyn and nephew Eli, and their father Rodney.
