Clara E. Mager

Clara E. Mager, 95, of Cressona, passed away Monday, July 10th, at home.

Born in Cressona on January 31, 1928, she was a daughter of the late J. Edward & Mabel Mae (Leuschner) Kephart.

She was the widow of John Mager, who passed away in 1974.

In addition to her parents and husband, she is also preceded in death by brothers: Thomas, & James Parnell, and sisters: Mary, & Emma Parnell, & Ruth Kephart, grandson, Kevin Mager, and daughter-in-law, Monica Mager.

Clara was a 1945 graduate of Cressona High School.

She had been employed in the cutting room as a material spreader for Cressona Knit Products, Inc.

Clara was of the Protestant faith.

She is survived by seven sons: John E. Mager (Elizabeth), Martin F. Mager (Carol), George T. Mager (Jeanette), David A. Mager (Eileen), Joseph E. Mager, Paul R. Mager (Anita), & Christopher J. Mager, three daughters: Ruth Ann Madeira (Richard), Katherine L. McAfee (David), & Mary A. Mager, 13 grandchildren, & 12 great-grandchildren.

A private graveside service was held at the convenience of the family.
