Cleo Jean (Bessa) Byerly

Cleo Jean (Bessa) Byerly, 94, of Schuylkill Haven, passed away Tuesday, February 6th, at Orwigsburg Center.

Born in Schuylkill Haven, on March 30, 1923, a daughter of the late Mamie (Strauss) and John  Bessa.

She was the widow of Albert L. Byerly, in 2008.

She was a member of St. John's United Church of Christ, Schuylkill Haven.

She was a graduate of Schuylkill Haven High School, Class of 1941 and worked at several locations at various positions in Schuylkill Haven.

In addition to her husband, she is preceded in death by her brother Lambert Bessa and sisters Kathryn Zajac Fryer and Mae Heinbach.

Surviving are  a son John A. Byerly husband of Sandi, Harrisburg; a daughter Susan Dapcic, Schuylkill Haven; seven grandchildren; six great grandchildren; multiple nieces and nephews.

Private funeral services will be at the convenience of the family.
