Daniel May, 51, of Pottsville, passed away Saturday surrounded by loved ones at Lehigh Valley Hospital-Cedar Crest, Allentown.
Daniel was born in Plainfield, N.J., Dec. 1, 1965, a son of Ronald and Judith Kirk May, Belvedre, N.J.
He graduated from North Hunterdon Regional High School, Annandale, N.J.
He was of the Lutheran faith.
Daniel was employed at SAPA, Cressona, and was a member of United Steel Workers Union.
Daniel is survived by two daughters, Christina, wife of Bryan Shaffer, Shillington, and Cheryl, wife of Philip Rivera, Columbus, Miss.; grandchildren, Michael, Bryce, Kolton, Andrew, Jason and Elise; his beloved dog, Bambino; his cat, Gunnie; a sister, Wendy Vroom, Phillipsburg, N.J.; his companion, Angela Reager, Pottsville.
A Celebration of Life funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Ebling-Stabingas Funeral Home, Cressona. Family and friends may call from 1 p.m. until the time of service at the funeral home. Interment will be in Union Cemetery, Schuylkill Haven.
