David E. Moyer, 78, of Schuylkill Haven, passed away Tuesday, December 13th, at Broad Mountain Health & Rehabilitation Center, Frackville.
Born in Pottsville on November 1, 1938, he was a son of the late Essenial & Clara (Richards) Moyer.
He was the husband of Georgene E. (Rushanan) Moyer, whom he married June 28, 1969.
David served in the U.S. Navy as a veteran of the Cuban Missile Crisis.
He was a member of St. Ambrose Roman Catholic Church, Schuylkill Haven.
In 2001 he retired from Exxon in Marlin after 30 years of service.
In addition to his wife, David is survived by a son,David G. Moyer, a granddaughter, Amanda Moyer, both of Bear, DE, and a sister, Betty Jean Moyer, San Francisco, CA.
In addition to his parents, David is also preceded in death by a brother, William Moyer.
