David C. Readinger, 59, of Washington Township, passed away Saturday at Lehigh Valley Hospital, Allentown.
David was born in Pottsville, June 25, 1958, a son of the late Carl and Alma Staller Readinger.
He was the husband of Betty L. Schwenk Readinger.
He was a graduate of Blue Mountain High School, Class of 1976, and was a member of Salem Hetzels UCC, Pine Grove. He worked as a self-employed contractor and that was his passion. He was well known for it in the area.
In addition to his wife, David is survived by sons, Jason D. Readinger, husband of Becky, Pine Grove, and Scott C. Readinger, Schuylkill Haven; a daughter, Amy L. Readinger, companion of Bradley Killian, Pine Grove; grandchildren Becka, Jason Jr., Aiden, Cadence, Brock and Elaina; a brother, Earl Readinger, husband of Barbara, Friedensburg.
Services will be held at a later date. Memorial donations may be sent to the American Diabetes Association , 1701 N. Beauregard St., Alexandria VA 22311.
