Donald C. Paxson, Jr.

Donald C. Paxson, Jr., 54, of Schuylkill Haven, passed away Tuesday, July 18th, at home.

Born in Pottsville on May 17, 1969, he was the beloved son of Donald C. Paxson, Sr. and Jacqueline Ann (Morgan) Paxson, Schuylkill Haven.

Donald was a 1990 graduate of Schuylkill Haven High School, & Schuylkill IU 29.

He was a member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church of Summer Hill, Auburn.

Donald had been employed by Avenues Greenhouse, Pottsville for 22 years.  He also enjoyed the Avenues Recreational group activities.

Halloween was Donald's favorite holiday, and he loved dressing up in costume. He looked forward to annual family vacations to Canada and swimming in the lake. But his favorite vacation of all time was a trip to Disneyworld that he would still talk about.  He loved attending country music shows and would dance with anyone willing to join him. Donald truly enjoyed life to the fullest.

In addition to his devoted parents, Donald is also survived by a sister, Tara A. Heher, wife of Jeffrey, of Schuylkill Haven, a niece, Alexa Marie Heher, and numerous aunts, uncles, & cousins.

He is preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Earl Paxson, Sr. & Lena Paxson Rehrer, paternal step-grandfather, Lester Rehrer, maternal grandparents, John & Phyllis Morgan, & maternal great-grandmother, Florence Morgan.

A Celebration of Life Funeral Service will be held at 10 AM on Friday, July 21st at Geschwindt Stabingas Ebling Funeral Home, Inc., Schuylkill Haven. A visitation will be held from 9 AM until the time of service.  Interment will follow at Schuylkill Memorial Park, Schuylkill Haven.
