Doreen E. (Dierwechter) Zimmerman

Doreen E. Zimmerman, 83, of North Manheim Township passed away Saturday, January 18th, at Lehigh Valley Hospital - Schuylkill, E. Norwegian St., Pottsville.

Born in Pottsville on May 18, 1941, she was a daughter of the late Clarence F. & Dora L. (Schappell) Dierwechter.

Married 38 years, Doreen was the widow of Jerome H. "Humpy" Zimmerman, who preceded her in death in 2014.

In addition to her parents and husband, she is also preceded in death by her daughter, Mary Bashore, & siblings: Phyllis Dierwechter, & Meldon Dierwechter.

She was a Blue Mountain High School graduate.

Doreen is survived by a daughter, Terre Renninger (Richard), three sons: Danial Bashore (Marian Miller), Gerald Bashore (Brenda Reber), & Kyle Zimmerman (Cathy Hogan), grandchildren: LeeAnn, Richard Jr., Michael (Sarah), Daniel, Dana Phillips (Brian), Brandon, Devon, & Maya, great-grandchildren: Everly, Elle, Hartlee, Nathan, Elijah, Jayden, Tanner, Logan, & Cecily, sister, Sharen D'Aurizio, & several nieces & nephews.

Private services will be held at the family’s convenience.
