Dorothea M. Moyer, 98, of Auburn, passed away Friday, May 26th, at her son's home.
Born in Rock, PA on January 15, 1919, she was a daughter of the late Howard & Emma (Krause) Mengel.
She was the widow of Wilson H. Moyer, who passed away September 20, 2004.
In addition to her parents & husband, she was also preceded in death by her siblings: Floyd, Reynold, & Harold Mengel, Robert Schwartz, Helen Grim, & Marie Schwartz-Felty.
She was a member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church Summer Hill, Auburn.
Dorothea is survived by a son,William H. Moyer & wife, Lynore, Auburn, a daughter, Darlene M. Waters & husband, John, Hershey, four grandsons: Matthew, Ryan, & Joshua Moyer, and Andrew Waters, and one granddaughter, Jennifer Waters, as well as great-grandchildren: Benjamin, Aaron, Nathan, Jonathan, Evan, & Alyssa Moyer, and Kathryn, & Connor Waters.
A Celebration of Life Funeral Service will be conducted at St. Paul's Lutheran Church Summer Hill, on Saturday, June 3rd at 2 p.m. with Rev. Kathleen Ash-Flashner officiating.
A viewing will be held at the church from 1 p.m. until the time of service on June 3rd.
Interment will follow the service at Salem Hetzel's Cemetery, Pine Grove.
