Dorothy H. Eisenhart, 94, of Macungie, formerly of Schuylkill Haven, passed away Sunday at Lehigh Center, Macungie.
Dorothy was born in Schuylkill Haven, Jan. 6, 1923, a daughter of the late Ursula Rubright and Phillip I. Hummel.
She was the widow of Charles E. Eisenhart, who passed away in 2006.
She was a member of Grace Evangelical Congregational Church, Schuylkill Haven, where she sang in the choir for 25 years and was a Sunday school teacher for 46 years, which she loved. She also enjoyed making flower arrangements and being a mother and grandmother.
She was a graduate of Schuylkill Haven High School, Class of 1941.
In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her son, Roger C. Eisenhart, in 2013.
Dorothy is survived by a daughter, Carolyn Grubel, wife of Guy, Lower Macungie; grandsons, James G. and Kevin A. Eisenhart, and Timothy J. and Nathan C. Grubel; great-grandchildren, Alyssa and Morgann Eisenhart and Makaila Benner.
A Celebration of Life funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Friday at Geschwindt-Stabingas Funeral Home Inc., Schuylkill Haven, with the Rev. Ted Rathman officiating. A viewing for family and friends will be held at 10 a.m. Friday until the time of the service at the funeral home. The family requests donations to Grace E.C. Church Memorial Fund, 15 Earl Stoyer Drive, Schuylkill Haven, PA 17972. Interment will be at Schuylkill Memorial Park, Schuylkill Haven.
