Dorothy L. Snyder, 83, of Schuylkill Haven, passed away Saturday at Lehigh Valley Hospital-Schuylkill E. Norwegian Street.
Born in Orwigsburg, Jan. 27, 1934, she was a daughter of the late Edward and Ruth Day Krammes.
She was the widow of Arthur E. Snyder, who passed away June 14, 2014.
In addition to her parents and husband, Dorothy was preceded in death by her brother, Robert Krammes.
Dorothy was a member of St. John's Reformed Church, Friedensburg.
She was a graduate of Schuylkill Haven High School.
She had been previously employed by Bell Telephone as an operator for 11 years and was bookkeeper for her husband's business for 23 years.
Dorothy is survived by a son, Bruce Snyder, and his fiancee, Melissa, Kulpmont; a daughter, Diane Snyder, Schuylkill Haven; a grandson, Caleb J. White; nieces, Ruth Morgan, Nancy Freeman, Kay Tommer and Carla Otto.
A private graveside service will be conducted at the family's convenience.
