Edward K. Adams

Edward K. Adams, 78, of Schuylkill Haven, passed away Saturday, Sept. 4, at Reading Hospital-Tower Health, West Reading.

Born Aug. 20, 1943, in Pottsville, he was a son of the late Benajmin & Emily (Glore) Adams.

He was the widower of Mary I. (Pugh) Adams, who passed away May 18, 2004.

Ed was a graduate of Pottsville High School, and had proudly served in the Marine Corps.

He was a member of St. Ambrose Roman Catholic Church, Schuylkill Haven.

Ed had been employed as a salesman for Autozone.

He is survived by three daughters, Kimberly A., widow of Lloyd Davenport, of Orwigsburg, Jodi M., wife of Joseph I. Hill Jr., of Schuylkill Haven, and Mitzi L., wife of Kurt Montz, of Schuylkill Haven. Ed is also survived by six grandchildren, Ashanti L. Davenport and her significant other, Justin Manhart, Joseph I. Hill III and his fiancee, Katelyn Herb, Jenna M. Lubinsky and her husband, Bernard, Justin E. Hill and his wife, Jodi Lynn, Seth Montz and his fiancee, Crystal Sanders, and Cody Montz and his wife, Jordan; seven great-grandchildren, Lorelei and Elliot Hill, Harper and Brinley Hill, Oliver Lubinsky, Freya Jane Montz and Christian Carter.

Private services and interment will be held at the convenience of the family. At the family's request, memorial donations in Ed's memory may be forwarded to Wounded Warrior Project, P.O. Box 758517, Topeka, KS 66675.
