Ellen M. (Berry) Lopez

Ellen Lopez, 82, of Auburn, passed away Friday, April 28th, at Lehigh Valley Hospital - Schuylkill, E. Norwegian St., Pottsville.

Born in Elizabeth, NJ on January 16, 1941, she was the daughter of the late Francis and Irene Berry.

Ellen was the widow of James Lopez to whom she was married 50 years.

She was a member of St. Ambrose Roman Catholic Church, Schuylkill Haven.

Ellen was employed as a transporter at the former Good Sam Hospital, Pottsville.

She is survived by two daughters, Lorraine Lopez, wife of James Lindsay, of Chaddsford; Suzanne Lopez, of Charlotte, NC; two sons, James, husband of  Linda Lopez, Jr., of Minersville; John Lopez, of Chaddsford; 3 grandchildren, and great grandchildren.

In addition to her parents and husband, she is preceded in death by a brother, Francis Berry.

A Catholic Funeral Service will be celebrated at 10:30 AM on Wednesday, May 3rd at Ebling-Stabingas Funeral Home, Cressona with Rev. Msgr. Edward S. Zemanik officiating. A viewing will be held at the church from 9:30 until the time of services.

Interment will be private at the convenience of the family at Indiantown Gap National Cemetery, Annville.
