Eva Diane Kutz, 99, of Schuylkill Haven, passed away Saturday at Schuylkill Medical Center-East Norwegian Street.
Born in Mahanoy City, Aug. 12, 1916, she was a daughter of the late Joseph and Celia Lipkin Tulin.
She was the widow of John L. Kutz, who passed away Nov. 28, 1997.
Eva was a Mahanoy City High School graduate, Class of 1933, and was last employed by Schuylkill Intermediate Unit 29, Mar Lin, as a secretary.
She was of the Jewish faith.
Eva was a member of the Puritan Chapter of the Mahanoy City Eastern Star and Schuylkill Haven Senior Citizens.
She enjoyed baking, sewing and watching Fox News, but loved nothing more than spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren and great-granddaughters.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was also preceded in death by her siblings, infant sister Elizabeth Tulin, Pearl Zelinsky, Rose Golin, Sarah Sherman, Freida Makin, Esther Tzizzes, Mary Arougheti, and Louis and Jacob Tulin.
Eva is survived by a daughter, Carole Lee and her husband, Robert, Schuylkill Haven; a son, James Kutz and wife, Suzanne, Mechanicsburg; four grandchildren, Jason Sikora and wife, Brandi, California, Rebekah Klimas and husband, Paul, Emmaus, and Daniel and David Kutz, Mechanicsburg; two great-grandchildren, Isabelle and Adelynn.
A graveside committal service will be held at 11:30 a.m. Thursday at Indiantown Gap National Cemetery, Annville, with the Rev. David R. Crowle officiating. A procession will leave promptly at 10:30 a.m. Thursday from Geschwindt-Stabingas Funeral Home Inc., 25 E. Main St., Schuylkill Haven.
