Evelyn I. Moyer

Evelyn I. Moyer, 91, of Schuylkill Haven, passed away Monday, March 5.

Evelyn was born in Summit Station, on September 17, 1926, a daughter of the late Savannah (Hardenstein) and Howard  Schaeffer.

She was the widow of Elmer L. Moyer.

She was a member of First United Methodist Church, Schuylkill Haven and was formerly employed by at Argo Textile.

In addition to her husband, she is preceded in death by a son Richard E. Moyer, a daughter Donna Stock, granddaughter Brenda Lynn Clay, brothers Herbert and Carl Schaeffer, sisters Pearl Eagan, Grace Manbeck and Erma Pohronezny.

Evelyn is survived by her daughters Carole Clay wife of Charles, Diane Ferrier wife of James, a son Kevin Moyer husband of Kathy, all of Schuylkill Haven; 11 grandchildren; 16 great grandchildren; 6 great great grandchild.

A Celebration of Life Funeral Service will be held at Geschwindt-Stabingas Funeral Home, Inc., Schuylkill Haven, at 11:30 on Friday, March 9th,  with Rev. Dr. Christopher Fisher officiating.

A viewing for family and friends will be held Friday 9:30 until the time of the service at the funeral home.
