Faye A. (Krammes) Shay

Faye Alberta Shay, 81, of Cressona, passed away Wednesday, October 16th, at Geisinger St. Luke's Hospital, Orwigsburg.

Born in Rock on October 25, 1942, she was a daughter of the late William S. & Stella M. (Warner) Krammes.

She was the widow of Vincent L. Shay, Sr., her husband of 46 years, who preceded her in death December 15, 2023.

Faye was a graduate of Pottsville Area High School.

She was a homemaker most of her life, but had worked at Argo Knitting Mills, Walk-In Arts Center, and as a product demonstrator for Giant.

Faye is survived by two daughters, Brenda Krasinsky, life partner of John McNulty, Sr., of Pottsville; Renee, wife of Brandon Shade, of Orwigsburg; and a son, Vincent Shay, Jr., fiancé of Karissa, of Schuylkill Haven. She is also survived by grandchildren, Joseph Krasinsky, Jr., Michael Krasinsky, Dane Krasinsky, Madisyn Shade, and Vincent Shay III; great grandson, Justin Krasinsky; two sisters: June Putlock, of Deer Lake, & Sally Kintzel, of Pottsville, and several nieces and nephews.

Affectionately called "Mammy" by her family, Faye cherished her grandchildren deeply. She also enjoyed visiting Ocean City Maryland.

A very active member of Faith Assembly of God, Cressona, Faye served as a Deaconess and board member and loved singing in the choir.

A Celebration of Life Memorial Service will be held at 10:30 AM on Thursday, October 24th at Ebling Stabingas Funeral Home, Cressona with Rev. David Ramsay officiating. A visitation will be held from 9:30 AM until the time of service. Interment will follow at Indiantown Gap National Cemetery, Annville.
