Florence E. Moyer, 70, of Auburn, passed away Wednesday at Penn State Milton S. Hershey Medical Center, Hershey, Dauphin County.
Florence was born in South Manheim Township, March 10, 1944, a daughter of the late Oscar and Marion Rooke Leymeister.
She graduated from Schuylkill Haven Area High School in 1962.
She was the wife of Marvin A. Moyer, with whom she would have celebrated 42 years of marriage this month.
She was a member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church of Summer Hill, Auburn, Penn State Master Gardeners and Diakon.
She was employed as an LPN at Rest Haven nursing home, Schuylkill Haven.
Florence is preceded in death by sisters, Diane Lehman and Elsie Lehman; a bro-ther, Dwight D. Leymeister.
Besides her husband, Florence is survived by three daughters, Michele D., wife of Bill Strause, Schuylkill Haven, Angela M., wife of Mark Kelly, Saint Clair, and Elizabeth Moyer, Schuylkill Haven; two sons, John J., husband of Carolyn Moyer, Pottsville, and Russell M. Moyer, husband of Pam, Scranton. She is also survived by four sisters, Susan Harrington, Patricia Moyer, Bonnie Lehman and Donna Ruzinsky; six brothers, Oscar Leymeister and Charles, Ernest, John, Paul and Kerry Lehman; 14 grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews.
A Celebration of Life funeral service will be held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at St. Paul's Lutheran Church of Summer Hill, Auburn, with the Rev. Kathleen Ash-Flashner officiating. A viewing will held from 9:30 a.m. until the time of service Saturday at the church. Interment will follow in Summer Hill Cemetery.
