Francis J. Snyder

Francis Joseph Snyder, 80, Schuylkill Haven, passed away Wednesday, July 12th, at home.

Born in Reevesdale, PA on December 18, 1942, he was a son of the late Joseph & Catherine (Mellen) Snyder.

He attended Tamaqua schools.

Francis had worked as a truck driver for J. Pohronezny Trucking. He had also been employed by the Lebanon VA Hospital in general maintenance for 20 years.

Francis is survived by a daughter, Tammy Behun, & husband, Matt, of Shoemakersville, a son, Joseph J. Snyder, & wife, Sarah, of Schuylkill Haven; four grandchildren: Nikki Snyder, & Riley Snyder, both of Schuylkill Haven, Emma Behun, Pine Grove, & Luke Behun, Shoemakersville, and his former wife, Carol Greenawalt.

In addition to his parents, Francis is also preceded in death by his daughter, Sandi Staller, formerly of Schuylkill Haven, and his sister, Jean Jones, formerly of Middletown.

Francis was known for his love of Subarus, Yuengling beer, and his pets; but above all else, he adored his grandchildren.

Services will be privately held at the family's convenience.
