Gary James Herman, 73, of Schuylkill Haven, PA, passed away Friday, December 4th, at his residence.
Born in Jersey City, NJ on December 18, 1941, he was a son of the late William & Florence (Kazary) Herman.
He was the loving husband of Renee M. (Price) Herman for 50 years.
Gary was a Linden High School graduate and attended trade school to become an electrician.
He was employed by Ford Motor Company as an electrician and had served in the U.S. Navy.
He was a member of the American Legion, Whitehouse, NJ, the Chapman Ridge Runners Snowmobiles Club, and the NRA.
In addition to his parents, Gary was also preceded in death by a son, Brett William Herman, and two brothers: Bruce & Glenn Herman.
In addition to his wife, he is also survived by a son,Shawn Herman & wife, Cyndi, Clinton, NJ, three granddaughters: Courtney, Lauren & Shawna Herman, all at home, and two nieces: Tracey Kuhn & Tammy Lee Badala, both of Florida, Stephanie McCann, Gregory Price, Timothy Price, Colleen Price & Laura Costalano.
A Celebration of Life Memorial Service will be held at Scarponi-Bright Funeral Home, 26 Main St., Lebanon, NJ, at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday, December 10th.
A visitation will be held on Thursday from 3:00 p.m. until the time of service at Scarponi-Bright Funeral Home.
Interment will be privately held at the family’s convenience.
