George H. "Pud" Dunkle, 65, of Harrisburg, passed away Saturday, August 23rd, at University of Pennsylvania Hospital, Philadelphia.
Born in Harrisburg, PA on August 21, 1949, he was a son of the late George H. & Alice (Weiss) Dunkle.
He was the husband of Dorothy M. "Dottie" (Baker) Dunkle, Orwigsburg.
Pud was honorably discharged from the U.S. Army, ranked as a Specialist 4.
He is survived by two daughters, Michele Scott, Enola and Renee Lewis & husband, Kim, Auburn,a brother, Donald Dunkle & wife, Randi, Fort Myers, FL and two grandchildren; Rylee Sellers & Jedd Burigana and one great-grandchild, Jade Burigana.
A committal service with military honors will be held at Fort Indiantown Gap National Cemetery, Annville, at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, August 27th. A procession to the cemetery will be leaving Geschwindt-Stabingas Funeral Home, Inc., 25 E. Main St., Schuylkill Haven, promptly at 9:00 a.m. At the family's request, memorial donations may be sent to American Heart Association - P. O. Box 15120 Chicago, IL 60693.
