George J. Guld

George J. Guld, 92, of Orwigsburg, passed away Wednesday, November 3rd, at Gesinger St. Luke's - Orwigsburg Campus.

Born in Philadelphia, PA on April 7, 1929, a son of the late Theresaand JosephGuld.

He was the widower of Mary E. (Klosinski) Guld, who passed away February 5, 2019.

He was a member of St. Ambrose Roman Catholic Church, Schuylkill Haven.

He served in the U.S. Army and was previously employed as a professional land surveyor in New Jersey.

George is survived by his children George M. husband of Cecilia, Bucks County, Thomas J. husband of Pamela, Delaware County and Mary L. Guld, Montgomery County; five grandchildren; eight great grandchildren.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:30 am on Monday, November 8th at St. Ambrose Roman Catholic Church in Schuylkill Haven, with Rev. Msgr. Edward S. Zemanik officiating.

A viewing for family and friends will be held prior from 9:15 am to 10:15 am at the Church.

At the family's request, memorial donations may be forwarded to Children's Hospital of Philadelphia, 3401 Civic Center Blvd. Philadelphia, PA 19104. Please include "In Memory of George J. Guld" on the memo line.

Interment will be at Holy Sepulchre, Philadelphia at 1:30 pm.
