Harvey I. Harris

Harvey I. Harris, 78, of Wayne Township, passed away November 20th, at Lehigh Valley Hospital-East Campus, Pottsville.

Born in Odessa, TX on February 24, 1945, he was a son of the late Harvey & Dorothy Marie (Bailey) Harris.

In addition to his parents, he is also preceded in death by brothers: John & Darryl.

Harvey worked for Pennsylvania Steel as maintenance manager for over 30 years. He later worked for Pennsy Supply as rock truck driver at the Summit Station Quarry until his retirement in 2013.

He served in the US Army.

Harvey belonged to The Moose in Hamburg, and the Friedensburg Game & Fish.

He is survived by his wife of 57 years, Judith Ann (Koch) Harris, son, Billy Dee Harris, grandson, Kyle Harris, and siblings: Jeanette, Homer, George, & Louise.
