Helen Ann Kurilla Dallago Berzowski, 55, of Schuylkill Haven, passed away Friday at home surrounded by her loved ones.
Born in Pottsville, on July 17, 1959, she was a daughter of Joan B. (Bonalle) Kurilla, Homestead, Fla., and the late Phillip Kurilla.
She was the wife of John Berzowski and worked as a beautician at Dallago's Salon, Schuylkill Haven.
In addition to her father, she is preceded in death by a sister, Genevive Kurilla; and niece, Joanie Berzowski.
In addition to her mother, Helen is also survived by two daughters, Rebecca, wife of Joseph Schoffstall Jr., Schuylkill Haven, and Mary, wife of Thomas Stewart Jr., Summit Station; four grandchildren, Kayla and Taylor Stewart and Joie and Jacie Schoffstall; a sister, Phyllis Berzowski and husband, Billy, Tenn.; two brothers, Phillip Kurilla and wife, Joanie, Pottsville, and Joseph Kurilla and wife, Pam, Fla.; and her former husband and father of her children, William J. Dallago, Summit Station.
A Celebration of Life memorial service will be held at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at Geschwindt-Stabingas Funeral Home Inc., Schuylkill Haven, with certified celebrant Caitlyn Ebling officiating. A visitation will be held from 9:30 a.m. until the time of service Wednesday at the funeral home. Interment will be held privately at the family's convenience. At the family's request, memorial donations in Helen's memory may be sent to Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation, 26 Broadway, New York, NY 10004.
