Helen B. Koperna

Helen  B. Koperna, 93, formerly of Schuylkill Haven passed away Monday, December 5th, at Lehigh Valley Hospital Pottsville.

Helen  was born in Pottsville, PA on August 30, 1929, a daughter of the late Helen B. (Roeder) Koperna and Charles  E. Bowers.

She was preceded in death by her husband Paul  Koperna who died in 1987 and a daughter Catherine McCready.

She was a  member of St. Ambrose Roman Catholic Church Schuylkill Haven.

She last worked as  assistant floor manager at Argo Mills

Helen  is  survived by a daughter, Virginia Melkonich, of Schuylkill Haven,  and a son Stanley P. and wife Brenda of Pottsville three grandsons Jason Wright his wife Bobbie Jo, Jeffrey McCready and his wife Lejla and James MCready and a great grandaughter Kennedy Wright

A private mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Ambrose Roman Catholic Church in Schuylkill Haven with Rev. Msgr. Edward S. Zemanik officiating with burial in Queen of the Universe Cemetery Pottsville.
