Helen L. Krammes, 96, of Cressona, passed away Tuesday at Schuylkill Center, Pottsville.
Helen was born in Summit Station, Oct. 3, 1919, a daughter of Clayton Moyer Sr. and Lash Moyer.
She was the widow of Warren C. Krammes, who passed away in 2011.
She was a member of Grace Evangelical Congregational Church Schuylkill Haven and Eastern Star.
She was formerly employed by Argo, as a cutter.
In addition to her husband, she is preceded in death by a daughter-in-law, Joan Krammes; brothers, Carl, Bruce, Rueben and Clayton Jr. Moyer; sisters, May Moyer and Elsie Uhlick.
Helen is survived by her son, Kenneth W. Krammes, husband of Carolyn G., Cressona; a granddaughter, Kelly Moore, wife of John, Reading; a grandson, Mark Krammes, husband of Marianne, Watsontown; four great-grandchildren, Brandon Kemmerling, George and Maria Krammes and Abby Achley; one great-great-grandson; sister, Betty Tobias, Orwigsburg.
A Celebration of Life funeral service will be held at 10:30 a.m. Thursday at Geschwindt Stabingas Funeral Home Inc., Schuylkill Haven, with the Rev. Ted Rathman officiating. A viewing for family and friends will be held from 9:30 a.m. until the time of the service at the funeral home. At the family's request, memorial donations may be sent to Grace Evangelical Congregational Church, Earl Stoyer Drive., Schuylkill Haven, PA 17972. Interment will be at Schuylkill Memorial Park, Schuylkill Haven.
