Helen E. (Cabashinsky) Liberto

Helen E. Liberato, 83, of Auburn, passed away Tuesday, August 3rd, at Shenandoah Manor Nursing Center, Shenandoah.


Born in Pottsville, on February 5, 1938, a daughter of the late Helen (Fox) and Albert Cabashinsky.


She was the widow of Salvatore Liberato.


She was a member of St. Ambrose Roman Catholic Church, Schuylkill Haven.


She was a graduate of Pottsville Area High School and was employed as a CNA at the former Rest Haven, Schuylkill Haven. She also helped at the St. Ambrose School and the Schuylkill Haven Library.


In addition to her husband, she is preceded in death by her sister Joette Sophy.


Helen is survived by her children Patricia Nicotera wife of Michael, Glenn Mills, Lynne Wootten wife of Shawn, Lake Wynonah and Salvatore Liberato husband of Jessica, Auburn; grandchildren Natalie, Gina, Darron, Kiefer and Sofia; great grandchildren Violet and Rhett; sister Lynda Larzarchick, Charleston, SC; brothers James Sophy, Orwigsburg and Joseph Sophy, AC.


A Mass of Christian Burial and interment will be celebrated at a later date.
