Anna-Inez Matus, 73, of Pine Grove, PA passed away Sunday, November 8th, at her residence.
Born in Pottsville, PA on February 5, 1947, she was the daughter of the late John Francis and Julia (Kovich) Matus.
Anna-Inez had a thirst for knowledge and a passion in searching for the “truth.” She was involved in the medical field for almost twenty years as a Certified Radiological Technologist from University Hospital of Maryland, Baltimore, MD. She was certified in Radiation Therapy from St. Agnes Hospital in Baltimore, MD. She also earned her degrees in Allied Health and Social Psychology from Lebanon Valley College in Annville, PA. She had a variety of occupations, starting out as an x-ray technician and then became an author, educator, counselor, life coach and therapist. Anna-Inez was passionate about Life Science, based on the works of T.C. Fry, and transformed the lives of many because of it. She made it her own, focusing primarily on food and food combinations for the purpose of healing. She created "32 Conditions for Optimal Human Health." She loved the arts, and education was in her blood. Her most outstanding characteristic was her desire to help others, opening her home to visitors far and wide, for the purpose of healing and shining.
She received the sacraments from SS. Peter and Paul Byzantine Catholic Church, Minersville, PA. In addition, she was a very spiritual individual and studied multiple cultures and religions.
She will be well remembered by all who knew and loved her with her written communication always closing with “URLOVED AIM.”
She was preceded in death by her sister Regina (Matus) Carpenter.
She is survived by her family of loving friends, siblings J. Frances Rose wife of George, Wilmington, DE, Maryanne Jordan, Austin, TX and John Matus and his life companion Christine Bowen, Laguna Beach, CA; several nieces and nephews.
Due to the current pandemic, a celebration of life service will be held in the Spring of 2021.
At the request of family and friends, memorial donations may be made to Hawk Mountain Sanctuary, 1700 Hawk Mountain Road, Kempton, PA 19529. Anna-Inez had a love of animals and birds and looked at them as symbols of an invisible force.
