Irene S. Miller, 89, of Summit Station, passed away Saturday at Lehigh Valley Hospital-Schuylkill, E. Norwegian Street.
Irene was born in Summit Station, March 30, 1927, a daughter of the late Mary Martikan Zemencik and Matej Zemencik.
She was a member of St. Paul's United Church of Christ Summer Hill, Auburn.
She was the widow of Marvin S. Miller, who passed in 1997.
In addition to her husband, she is preceded in death by her brothers, Phillip, Cyril, Matthew and Michael; sisters, Helen, Rosalie, Frances, and Elizabeth.
Irene is survived by many nieces and nephews.
A Celebration of Life funeral service will be held at 10:30 a.m. Thursday at Geschwindt-Stabingas Funeral Home Inc., Schuylkill Haven, with the Rev. Curtis Zemencik officiating. A viewing for family and friends will be held from 9:30 a.m. until the time of service Thursday. Interment will be at Summer Hill Cemetery.
