James L. "Jamie" Edwards

James L. "Jamie" Edwards, 50, of Cressona, PA, passed away August 23rd at Geisinger Medical Center, Danville, PA.

Jamie was born in Tacoma, Washington on January 4, 1971, a son of Wayne & Betty (Tibbs) Edwards, of Delhi, LA.

He was the husband of Amy Louise (Rothhaar) Edwards to whom he was married to for 14 years.

Jamie worked in the Fabrication Department at Hydro Extrusions, Cressona PA.

In addion to his wife and parents, Jamie is also survived by two daughters: Jayme Nichole Ready, & husband, Cody, Farmsville, LA & Lauren Carraway, & husband, Tyler, of Delhi, LA; a step-daughter, Jessica Lee McArdle, & wife, Lindsay, of Avalon PA; & a brother, Allen Edwards, husband of Tammy of Delhi, LA.

He is also survived by 6 grandchildren who called Jamie "Pap Pap": Landen (Bubba), Jayse, Cole, Carter, Payton and Emma.

Public Viewing will be held 2 - 4 PM and 6 - 8 PM on Thursday, August 26th at Ebling-Stabingas Funeral Home in Cressona, PA. A Celebration of Life Funeral Service will be held at 8 PM Thursday, August 26th at the funeral home.

Interment private at convenience of the family.
