James J. Mohan Jr., 83, of Schuylkill Haven, passed away Tuesday at his residence.
Born in Pottsville, Aug. 2, 1932, he was a son of the late James J. Sr. and Agnes Dudas Mohan.
He was a member of St. Ambrose Roman Catholic Church, Schuylkill Haven.
He was self-employed as a Christmas tree farmer and did construction work.
He was preceded in death by brothers, Thomas and Daniel Mohan, and a sister, Dorothy M. Reber.
James is survived by a nephew, Thomas Mohan, and his best friend, LaVerne Schaeffer.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at St. Ambrose Roman Catholic Church, Schuylkill Haven, with Father Robert Reiley officiating. A viewing for family and friends will be held from 9:30 to 10:15 Tuesday in the chapel. Interment will be at Saint Ambrose Cemetery, Schuylkill Haven.
