Jane Lippert, 72, of Schuylkill Haven, passed away Saturday at Pleasant View Retirement Community, Manheim.
Born in Hackensack, N.J., May 17, 1943, she was a daughter of the late Joseph and Elaine Lewis LaMendola.
She was the wife of John Lippert, whom she married in 1966.
Jane received her bachelor's degree in liberal arts from Upsala College, East Orange, N.J. She taught English at Blue Mountain High School and Schuylkill Haven Area High School. She was also the director of advertising at Trail Gardens and worked as a pharmacy clerk at Stine's Pharmacy.
Surviving, in addition to her husband, John, are daughters, Megan Jane Delevan, wife of Todd, Havertown, and Marie-Elaina Miller, wife of Mark, Lancaster; grandchildren, Wyatt and Garrett Delevan and Helen and Claire Miller; sister, Virginia Moran; a niece and three nephews.
A visitation for family and friends will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. Saturday at Ebling-Stabingas Funeral Home, Cressona. A Celebration of Life memorial service will be held at 10:30 a.m. Sunday at the funeral home with the Rev. Nelson Reppert officiating. Interment will be private at the convenience of the family.
