Jean J. Mintz, 98, of Schuylkill Haven, died Saturday, February 15th, at Green Valley Nursing Home, Pitman, PA.
Jean was born in Minersville, PA on October 5, 1921, a daughter of the late Mary and Stephen Lipinsky.
She was the widow of WalterJ. Mintz who died December 23, 2000.
In addition to her parents and husband, Jean is also preceded in death by her son, Walter S. Mintz.
She was a member of St. Ambrose Roman Catholic Church, Schuylkill Haven.
She was the office manager for Walter J. Mintz, Inc.
Jean is survived by three daughters, Jean Mintz, of Cressona; Darlene, wife ofRay Quackenbush, of Waynesboro PA; JoAnn, wife ofKenneth Wolfe, of Schuylkill Haven; and a son, Dennis, husband ofBrenda Mintz, of Pottsville.
Jean is also survived by two brothers, Constantine Lipinsky, of Florida, and John Lipinsky, of Schuylkill Haven; 8 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Ambrose Roman Catholic Church, Schuylkill Haven, at 10:30 am on Thursday, February 20th, with Rev. Msgr. Edward S. Zemanik.
A viewing will be held on Thursday 9:15 to 10:15 am. St. Ambrose Roman Cathoilc Church 201 Randel Street Schuylkill Haven, PA.
Interment will follow at Indiantown Gap National Cemetery Annville, PA.
