Jeanette I. Krammes, 88, of Wayne Township, passed away Wednesday, December 28th, at Lehigh Valley Hospital - Schuylkill, E. Norwegian St., Pottsville.
Born in Wayne Township on September 29, 1928, she was a daughter of the late Paul F. Clauser, Sr. & Luella E. (Schaller) Clauser.
She was the loving wife to Allen E. Krammes, to whom she was married almost 70 years.
Jeanette was a member of St. Paul's United Church of Christ Summer Hill, Auburn, where she sang in the choir and belonged to the Friendly Circle.
She was formerly employed as a machine operator for Alpha Mills & American Argo, Corp.
In addition to her husband, Jeanette is also survived by a son,Kenneth Krammes & wife, Donna, Pine Grove, a daughter, Lorna J. Palerino & husband, Joseph, Wayne Township, grandchildren; Jeffrey Palerino, Mark Palerino & Ryan Krammes, and great-grandchildren; Zachary, Sarah, Callie, & Connor, as well as two sisters: Elaine Krause, widow of Lewis, Harrisburg, and Fern Krause, Pottsville, and two brothers: Herman Clauser, Sr. & wife, Nancy, and Richard Clauser & wife, Linda, all of Wayne Township.
In addition to her parents, she is also preceded in death by her brother, Paul F. Clauser, Jr., nephews; Herman Clauser, Jr., and Paul "Skip" Clauser, III, and niece, Sheri Adams.
A Celebration of Life Funeral Service will be conducted at St. Paul's United Church of Christ, Summer Hill, Auburn, at 10:30 a.m. on Monday, January 2nd, with Rev. Mark Dewald officiating.
A viewing will be held at the church on Monday from 9:30 a.m. until the time of service.
Interment will follow the service at Summer Hill Cemetery, Auburn.
