Jennie N. Abrachinsky, 93, of Pottsville, passed away Tuesday, May 3rd, at home.
Born in Jenners, PA on June 15, 1922, she was a daughter of the late James & Nellie (Ditkewich) Ross.
Jennie was the widow of Albert J. Abrachinsky, Jr., who passed away July 31, 2008.
In addition to her parents and husband, Jennie is also preceded in death by two daughters; Joanne Baumann and Sandra Webber, and two brothers; Charles & Joseph Ross.
She had worked as a machine operator in the textile industry.
Jennie was a member of St. Patrick's Roman Catholic Church Pottsville, and was a former member of Mary Queen of Peace Church.
She is survived by a daughter, Leona Matz & husband, Steve, Pottsville, a son,Leo Walchak & wife, Donna, Liverpool, eight grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren, three great-great-grandchildren, a sister-in-law, Mary Ann Leibel & husband, Norman, Greentown, PA, and nieces and nephews.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Patrick's Roman Catholic Church, Pottsville, at 11 a.m. on Monday, May 9th.
A viewing will be held at the church on Monday from 10 a.m. until the time of mass.
Interment will follow mass at Fort Indiantown Gap National Cemetery, Annville.
